Working Groups

Working Groups exist as a vehicle for all UWOC participants to come together in focus communities to improve the climate and opportunity of women of color at the University of Minnesota.

Volunteer Opportunities

You are UWOC! Did you know you can help plan UWOC events even though you don't serve on the Council? There are many ways you can contribute to our efforts. If you have an interest in serving in a volunteer capacity, join the volunteer opportunity group.

Currently we are looking for volunteers to help with logistics for the 11th Annual Fall Welcome Breakfast and the Solidarity and Success Mentoring Project!

If you are interested in getting involved please email

None of these excite you? Create a working group of your own with friends and colleagues!

The University of Minnesota is an equal opportunity educator and employer.
