• Diversity Resume Workshop
  This workshop will be presented by Dr. Mera Kachgal, who is a career consultant at the Health Careers Center in the Academic Health Center.

• Cuban-Colombian author and editor Daisy Hernandez to speak at the U of M Women's History Month lecture
  Hernandez's lecture is sponsored by the Office for University Women (OUW), a unit of the university's Office for Equity and Diversity. Co-sponsors include department of Chicano studies, department of English, School of Journalism and Mass Communication, TCF Bank, University Women of Color and the Women's Student Activist Collective.

• Understanding Family and Medical Leave
  This session will provide an overview of the policy, including information and general information about what types of leave are covered.

• University Women of Color Fall Welcome
  Our program will feature a panel of women of color addressing the topic, "Weaving the Tapestry: Building a Vibrant Community across Cultures." The UWOC Tapestry Award will also be presented.
